I prepare a miyeok soup for my birthday. Of course, it is not the first time to try this, but this time is a little different and special. The base is Miso, a Japanese sauce, being melted down to hot water plus diced garlic and chooped miyeok; just as simple as a Japanese Miso soup except a little bit of tofus inside. It is not my intention to be convenient, as much as I could get, in furnishing a traditional birthday soup. Rather, I am kind experimenting a new way of developing receipes.
And it turns out to be a successful one, good enough to taste next time.
Anyway, happy birthday to me !
P.S. one thing I have missed is a few pieces of diced green onion around.
