Ambivalent

   It is an old story of mine, while I was in the school. I took a casino gaming class once in a while and it was not one of requirement courses that I should take. I was asked to explain why I took that course, and I replied that I intended to explore many aspects of casinos, not only as a gambling figure. Anyway, I did OK throughout the semester with a little attention and encouragement from the teacher, even I can not recall what he looked like. 

   The lecture started from the term of 'ambivalent' that how hard and how long it took to accept a gaming industry as one of legitimate businesses. And the magnified details of how it had been adapted in the state of Nevada to boost a last economical reservoir for inhabitant's survival were quite dramatic. It had been a period of ups and downs indeed.

   A piece of memories that have been aroused among class materials after all these years is not occured in vain. I guess the society that I have been facing is gone through this stage as well, as far as I am concerned.

   Lessons are everywhere, as long as I am willing to learn.
