Very good at distinguishing reality from emotionality

   The best part of getting old is that I have become very good at distinguishing reality from emotionality. It was a long time ago, my daughter asked me "This wouldn't be happening in reality, Right daddy ?" while watching a movie together. I was reluctant to respond for a while, because I had never thought of those things. I have to admit around this time that maybe I was not ready to discover a difference between two.

    Not a long ago, I told my daughter that "You should have a plan B for just in case." Maybe this time, I was referring to more than cold reality that can give in a life. But the response was quite different from what I had expected. "Dad, If you consider plan B all the times, you won't be able to devote yourself at full throttle."

   Values could be idetified in acoordance with personal and emotional attachement on them. And as a result of this, it is fair to say that each individual has own responsibilty for decisions, if they are based on matters to distinguish reality from emotionality.
