Pros and cons of a mechanistic materialist
As I am getting closer to a territory in which the material world surpasses the spiritual things by a wide margin, I begin to assess pros and cons of a machanistic materialist. I am fully aware that it doesn't do any impact on the way I am living in currently. But out of curiosity, I try to figure out what they are in a broad sense. Of course, I am not confident to declare it would be a solid opinion. However, I find it very attempting to leave a memo.
The pros of being mechanistic materialist are: (1) The incidents that I am facing with are not formulated in a cause and effect relationship mainly (2) I find the incidents very less emotional attachment involved, even for personal matters (3) I don't worry about the incidents that are not happened yet, nor are going to occur.
On the same tocken, the cons are: (1) I am losing my sensible emotional sentiment with full of empathy (2) I find the incidents very less attracting to get reacted (3) I am tending to put too much empasis on coincidences.
If I am asked to enumerate some more examples, the list would be pretty long. And the point is that I have to maintain a balance between two extremes. Otherwise, I would be dangling from a prejudiced tree.
